Ride the Track
Fluidride Cup #2, #3 & #4 – Mt. Hood SkiBowl, OR
The Mt Hood Ski Bowl Course is one of the toughest around. The Pro/Cat 1 track starts above treeline and features everything from broken shale with stunning views of Mt Hood to wide open access roads, rock gardens, and of course, some prime NW Woods sections. This track drops about 1400′ with race times for the Pro’s at just over 4 minutes. We now have two bottom sections available for use, as well as some alternative lines up top. We are planning to switch the track up as much as possible between events to keep riders on their toes. The Category 2 track shares much of the Pro/Cat 1 track, with a less technical bottom section. There is also a very beginner friendly track at Mt Hood which descends fire roads to the 20 plus turn Gnar Gnar singletrack at the bottom. Spending time on Mt Hood and in Government Camp is truly a getaway, no matter how far you’ve traveled.

The course features classic single track, stunning Cascade Mountain views, and literally hundreds of turns. We’ll be racing this track on Saturday and Sunday with the lowest combined times taking home the medals. Shuttles will be provided both Saturday and Sunday, with 4 hourse of practice Saturday prior to run #1, this weekend is going to be all about eating up as much NW single track as you can!

Fluidride Enduro DH #2 – Mt. Hood SkiBowl & Timberline, OR
Fluidride Enduro DH #2 – Stage One – Palmer Glacier to 39 Road
In order to get to the top of Stage One of the Mt Hood Enduro, riders will be shuttled to Timberline Lodge which is the highest paved point on the mountain at over 6,000 feet. From there, riders will take the Magic Mile Chairlift another 1,000 vertical feet up the mountain to the starting line. The track starts with four minutes of talcum like fire roads with long drifty turns and high speed straights. The next four minutes descends the famous Glade Trail where riders will ride at warp speed down rocky rutted access “roads” to the start of the single track. The single track section starts out with rocky rutted trail for 5 minutes or so, then turns into really smooth buffed out singltrack for the last 7 or so minutes to the end. This 20 minute run has less than 1 minute of actual climbing in it, but make no mistake – you want to show up fit and ready for this beast. Full faced helmets are required.

Fluidride Enduro DH #2 – Stage 2 – Timberline to Government Camp
On Saturday morning we’ll descend from Timberline Lodge (no Chairlift needed) to Government Camp with the finish line just above the famous Rat Skeller Pub where cold pints and hot food will await riders. This 10 plus minute track drops the whole way with no climbing. While fitness is essential, this track can be descended with virtually no pedaling. Full faced helmets are required.
Fluidride Enduro DH #2 – Stage 3 – Mt Hood Ski Bowl
We’ll finish up our weekend of gravity feasting at Mt Hood’s Ski Bowl, where riders will descend from the top of Tom Dick Peak 1400 feet to the parking lot in about 5 minutes. All riders will ride the same course in this race, which will be a mixture of Ski Bowls trails.
